Mitigating Risks: A Comprehensive Approach to Site Safety

⚡ Safety-Driven Power Solutions at Quick Dry

At Quick Dry, we take electrical safety seriously — because delivering top-tier drying results starts with a secure site setup. From cable selection to equipment configuration, every detail is considered.

We use heavy-duty extension leads with 2.5mm² copper conductors, chosen to minimize voltage drop and safely support up to 15 amps — outperforming standard 10-amp cables. After confirming the drying solution with our clients, we assess total amperage needs to ensure every machine operates safely within the lead’s capacity.

We also employ construction-grade power blocks designed to handle tough site conditions:

  • ✅ Weatherproof Protection: Built to withstand rain, dust, and outdoor use
  • ✅ 15-Amp Capacity: Supports multiple tools and equipment without overload
  • ✅ Automatic Safety Features: Integrated overload and overcurrent protection keeps equipment and people safe

This attention to safety lets us focus on what we do best — efficient drying with zero compromise on site integrity.

Fire Safety Measures

Preparing for the Worst: Fire Safety Measures

While we always strive for excellence, we remain prepared for the unexpected. To ensure the safe and efficient operation of our diesel combustion fan heaters, all personnel are required to follow the protocols outlined below:

  • On-Site Safety Equipment: A fire extinguisher and water hose must be readily available at all times.
  • Increasing Monitoring Intervals:

During diesel fan heater operations, Quick Dry staff follow strict safety procedures, including a tiered monitoring schedule to ensure ongoing site security.

Our standard protocol includes:

  • First 2 hours: Monitoring conducted every 30 minutes
  • 3rd hour: Monitoring every 60 minutes
  • Beyond 3 hours: Monitoring intervals increase to every 2 hours, then every 3 hours

This progressive approach balances vigilance with operational efficiency, allowing us to maintain high safety standards throughout the drying process.
